Updates completed for WISARK9

We are pleased to announce that we have completed updates for the Wisconsin Interstate Search and Recovery Group.

Wisconsin Interstate Search & Recovery K-9 Team (WISARK9) is a team comprised of professionally trained volunteer K9’s and handlers who are dedicated to assisting Law Enforcement in searching for missing or deceased people.

They are a tax exempt, 501 (C)(3) organization servicing Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois communities. There is never a fee for their services.

Through continuing education, training and innovation, each team brings special skills and knowledge together into an effective and very efficient search partnership. Training requirements for K9 Handlers include: CPR, Crime Scene Preservation, OSHA BloodBorne Pathogens Certification, First Aid, NASAR’s SARTECH Certification, Hazmat training and K9 first aid.
