Not all of the blog entries on this blog are written by Jessica. My family, friends, and some clients have accounts here as well, and can write entries if they want to.  Each post lists the author, so if you have questions, comments, etc, make sure to address them directly to the author of the post.

About Green Web Design & Internet Consulting

Hello! My name is Jessica. I am the owner of Green Web Design, a Website Development, Online Marketing, and Internet Consulting company located in Wisconsin. I use this blog to let my clients know what’s going on with their projects, to communicate the status of projects to my team, and for historical purposes of tracking my clients’ projects and site changes over time.

I began Green Web Design as a “nights and weekends” business in 1995 while I was going to college for Environmental Science, but my love of computers actually goes back to the Christmas that I got my very first computer, a Commodore 64, when I was 8 years old. My parents took a picture of me sitting at the desk, hunched over the keyboard typing away with a look of pure joy on my face, my brand new Peaches n Cream Barbie and Ken laying discarded, forgotten, next to the keyboard.

I no longer have barbies laying around my desk, but I’m still fascinated as ever with computers and technology. Today, I have over 20 years of computer-related experience, and over 12 years of hands-on Internet and web design experience. Not to mention several dozen happy customers.

Most of my clients are in the greater Milwaukee and Waukesha area, but I happily accept clients from anywhere in the world. Some of my current clients are as far and wide as Oregon, New Hampshire, California, and Arizona, to name a few. People often ask “how does this work, when you’re there, and I’m here?” Pretty well, actually! Most things are easily handled via email 24 hours a day, and the rest is easily handled via telephone. I have unlimited USA long distance and can call you for free in any state, so you won’t have to pay for long distance calls either!

In addition to my website design business, I also own a popular self-serve online classified advertising.  You can easily register for an account and post an ad, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Visit www.GreenWebDesign.com to read more about my services and to learn what I can do to create or market your website!

Green Web Design is a family-owned business.

Meet the family:

The full-time staff of Green Web Design consists of myself (Jessica), my husband (Robert), and my father (Brian). Robert and I work from our home office in Fond Du Lac, and Brian works from his home office in Milwaukee.

Jessica primarily does all of the Website Design and Custom Myspace Design work. I also perform White Hat Search Engine Optimization, and Online Marketing of all kinds. I also set up the sitemaps, maintain Google Analytics accounts, analyze data gathered by the team, and perform other duties too numerous to list.

Brian provides Target Marketing Research, Structured Advertising Campaigns for small to medium sized companies, Merchant Account Services, Search Engine Marketing, and other related services. Visit his main website for more information: 50 Caliber Online Marketing.

Robert is our main Search Engine Research Analyst. He also places classified advertisements on behalf of our clients, maintains their custom myspace profiles and manages friends requests, and performs various types of Search Engine Marketing for many of our clients.

We also have several other talented people who we hire to do contract work for us on an “as needed” basis for larger projects. No matter how big or small your project is, Green Web Design & Internet Consulting can get the job done.
