response times vary by search engine and cannot

one time hand submission to google, it usually
takes about 3-5 months for a website to be indexed,
but if no other websites which are already in
Google link to you, then you will need to keep
re-submitting constantly to stay listed. On the
other hand, it may take up to 18 months to be
listed in DMOZ, but they don't care whether anyone
links to you or not. In contrast, it only takes
about 1 month to be included in Yahoo and MSN's
search results, and the more links you have coming
in from other websites, the better you rank. If
you are trying to get indexed faster or rank higher,
you must use more than just a one time standard
submission. You may also consider buying links
from websites with a GPR of 4 or higher, or using
free link exchanges, in order to get votes for
